Upcoming GNHRA Events
GNHRA Lunch and Learn Opportunities meet every
second Tuesday from September to June.
We have selected programs that are intended to match the expressed
needs of our members, while fulfilling our purpose of advancing
the knowledge, techniques, practices and skills of people committed
to excellence in human resources management. Our presenters
are aligned with us in the value of practical application of
information, so that you will come away from the meetings with
workable solutions.
Each meeting we will also have a legal update presented by Attorney
Charla Stevens of McLane Graf Raulerson & Middleton Law Offices.

Individuals with Disabilities:
Making the Most of an Untapped Resource
Presented by Emily Manire and David Hagner
Ever heard someone say, "workers with disabilities have lower injury rates?" If so, then you should plan to attend GNHRA's June 10th meeting on finding the right person for the job. We will walk through the selection process, how to work with job developers and rehabilitation programs, and uncover helpful resources that are right under your nose.
For the first part of our meeting, we will hear from Emily Manire from LinkAbilities. Emily will facilitate exchanging information on implementation efforts and focus, and how our organizations can get involved and benefit from the workforce development efforts.
The second half of the meeting will be presented by David Hagner, PhD and employee of the University of New Hampshire's Institute on Disabilities. David plans to share some innovative and creative ways people with disabilities can add to the workforce along with a demonstration on accommodations/business incentives.
